Do you ever IMAGINE how DIFFERENT
or BETTER
your life could be if you Were The Master of your Destiny. |
Let me tell you a little bit about copywriters just in case you don’t already know. Copywriters are paid thousands of dollars to write one "sales letter" the first page on the site. Usually a mini site and the page seems to go on forever and ever, so that by the time you get to the bottom you feel like you’ve read a whole book. They know how to light the fire that creates the desire and then eliminate all of the objections the reader might have. A good copywriter is a gifted con artist and they don’t care whether the webpage owner is legit or not as long as they get paid. The really good ones are on contract to write entire sites. And you can mark my words they’re the ones making the dishonest webmasters rich.
A lot of the people that I’ve done a lot of business with in the past are really perturbed with me because I’m revealing the nasty secrets that are making them wealthy. I really don’t care because I’m sick and tired of seeing people cheated out of their hard earned money. It’s time that someone hit back where the hitting hurts (The Pocket Book).
The sole purpose of the copywriter is to keep your attention as he or she leads you slowly down the page (The Killer Sales Letter) removing all objections before they ever come up. Keeping your attention until he or she gets you to the seductive clincher at the bottom of the page. Now you’re on a precipice totting back and forth wondering should I or shouldn't I, Am I an idiot if I don’t take advantage of this offer. All the copywriter needs to do is give you a little nudge and you’ll fall right into the trap. Here comes the clincher. There are several but this ones the most common. “Buy Now! This offer expires at midnight. The price goes all the way up tomorrow."... If you are strong enough to say no, when you try to leave the page a popup pops up reducing the price a little bit more telling you this is a one time offer that you’ll never see again. Wow…Now your hooked just like a fish out of water.
My comments on SPAM:
What is the real threat to the internet? Is it censorship, which would kill some classes of email messages? Or would it be the programs designed to dilute our content till we find it not worthy of checking our inbox? How should we respond? I suggest that you write spam in the search box on your browser and find out all that you can on this subject. This is definitely a problem that needs a solution. This is what I personally feel. First of all I like the freedom of speech which is our constitutional right. Blocking certain email and making it illegal is depriving the honest person of this right. Here's what's happening now and it's wrong. If the message you send looks or sounds like spam it gets shit canned by the blockers now being used. Spammers have found a way around this but the people with integrity are the ones getting hurt. What can be done to protect us? I don't know but for now I censor my own mail and delete the intruders. I can only hope that others will do the same so that my mail will get through. Thank you, Big Daddy Cash
That's my weekly for today. I want to thank everyone who has sent me encouraging messages. Your response has been gratifying and I appreciate the input.
